Protecting
a Binary
After you have modified default protection settings and
protection details, you can use the parameters to protect a

1.Review the default binary settings and protection details. These protection parameters will apply after you protect the binary.
NOTE Note: If you use Install_name_tool to alter the name of your dynamic libraries, you must run the tool before you apply Sentinel LDK protection to your binaries.
2.Click the Protect Selected or Protect All buttons in the Programs pane. A dialog box is displayed, indicating the status of the protection process.
You can click Start Protected Program in the dialog box to immediately launch the protected software.
The success or failure of the protection process is logged in the Log pane.
Protected binaries are saved in the Protected folder. You define the location of this folder in theDefault Directories tab of the Sentinel LDK Envelope Settings dialog box.
