An Unlocked Product is derived from a Base Product, and can be used as the following:

>Unlocked Trialware Product: Unlocked Trialware Products have a maximum time period of 90 days. This Product that can be used as trialware, or during a grace period. These do not require a locking type, since they can be activated and used for a limited period without a Sentinel protection key. This period can be set to begin either from the date of first use of the application or the from the date that the license was generated. (The Unlocked Trialware Product was formerly referred to as a Provisional Product.)

>Unlocked Unlimited Product: A Product that does not lock a protected application to a specific machine and does not necessarily impose any licensing restrictions on the use of the protected application.
