Setting Notification Properties
You can configure Sentinel LDK-EMS to send automatic e-mail reminders or display notifications on the Home page to renew Sentinel LDK licenses prior to expiration or depletion.
You can specify the users to whom you want the reminder to be sent. For e-mail notifications, each e-mail recipient can be specified as:
>A Sentinel LDK user for whom a valid e-mail address is defined.
>Any valid e-mail address.
Sending e-mail notifications requires SMTP and e-mail-related configurations in the Outgoing E-mail Server Settings area of the Administration Console. For details, see Sentinel LDK-EMS Configuration Guide.
If the SMTP and e-mail-related configurations are not defined in the Administration Console, then the specified users receive notifications on the Home page of Sentinel LDK-EMS when they log on.
What is included in a notification?
Users are notified that one or more licenses in their Master license (Master Key) are about to expire or reach the maximum number of executions.
>Non-administrator users receive instructions to contact their Sentinel LDK-EMS administrator to avoid disruption to license production.
