How to Start and Stop Sentinel LDK-EMS Service

Sentinel LDK-EMS Service is configured to start automatically when the machine starts. If needed, you can manually stop or start Sentinel LDK-EMS Service. For example, you may need to restart the service after customizing some properties in Sentinel LDK-EMS.

You can manually stop and start Sentinel LDK-EMS Service from:

>Windows Services

>Command Prompt

To stop and start the service from Windows Services:

1.Open Windows Services. (From the Start button, enter Services, or from the Start button, enter Run, and, in the Run dialog box, enter services.msc and click OK.)

2.In the Services window, right-click Sentinel LDK-EMS Service.

3.Select one of the following:

•Start

•Restart

•Stop

To stop and start the Service from Windows Command Prompt:

1.Run a Windows command prompt as an administrator. If the User Account Control dialog box opens, click Yes.

2.In the command prompt, enter cd %ems_home% and press Enter to switch to the EMS home directory.

• To start the service, enter ems-startservice.bat and press Enter.

•To stop the service, enter ems-stopservice.bat and press Enter.
