Release: 2.1 | September 2024

New Features and Enhancements

>Introduced a new application, Sentinel Connect CPQ, available to customers who have the CPQ (Configure Price and Quote) component installed on the Salesforce App Exchange.

>Enhanced the following in Sentinel Connect to support customers using Sentinel LDK Enforcement including the ones migrating from Sentinel LDK-EMS to Sentinel EMS:

Enabled upsell or renewal of multiple keys purchased by a customer automatically from the ERP system using Sentinel Connect.

Automated the upsell order activation based on the Sentinel LDK configuration specified in the Client Management page.

Provided the ability to update multiple memory files on a device of a customer for new or upsell orders.

>Added the user-based Licensing support with the ability to create a user as a customer administrator.

>Enabled the configuration of users from an external identity provider using external IDs.

>Updated the terminology to use "user" instead of "contact" throughout Sentinel Connect.

>Introduced a new application, Sentinel Connect Non-CPQ, available on the Salesforce App Exchange.

>Enhanced the following in Sentinel Connect to support customers using Sentinel LDK Enforcement including the ones migrating from Sentinel LDK-EMS to Sentinel EMS:

Enabled upsell or renewal of orders for an existing active customer with an active key.

Updated the memory on a key or device based on the specific order parameter or product meta data.

Targeted the subscriptions or end dates of orders to align with the expiration dates of the license models.

New Features and Enhancements

>Added a new prebuilt connector, Zuora Connector, in Sentinel Connect to connect the Zuora billing application with Sentinel EMS. This automates the process of creating and updating entitlements based on Zuora events for subscription orders.

>Automated the usage sync in the SCL database from Sentinel EMS to Zuora for billing at regular intervals using Zuora Connector.

>Added support for updating the dynamic license model counters, including mapping quantities from the ERP system to line item quantities. Other supported counters include concurrency, execution count, user limit, and number of days in case of trial products based on the product's custom attributes.

New Features and Enhancements

Introduced a new prebuilt connector, SAP Connector, in Sentinel Connect for connecting the SAP applications to Sentinel EMS.

>This automates the process of creating and updating the entitlements as part of the order creation and update workflows in SAP.

>It operates using SAP's iDOC (Intermediate Document) format.

>Supported versions of SAP are SAP R3, S/4 HANA and BPT.

New Features and Enhancements

>Improved the performance of Sentinel Connect API by optimizing the search response time for all entities. 

> Added the batch processing capabilities that enable Sentinel Connect API to process multiple entitlement requests at a time.

>Added more validations on user name and client name that now allow up to 50 alphanumeric characters. The only allowed special characters are dash, underscore, dot, and space.

New Features and Enhancements

This release includes logging-related changes and security baseline implementation. The major highlights are:

>Changed the password policy for the Sentinel Connect portal. The password must contain a minimum of 10 characters with one capital letter, one small letter, at least one number, and one special character. 

>All the operations related to session management are logged. 

>All input and output validations are done on the server side. Any input validation failure results in input rejection.

>Added the following security headers in all API responses: HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), Referrer-Policy, HTTP, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, and Feature-Policy.

>Introduced a new role, Customer Admin, who can perform administration functions on the customer-side without any Thales intervention.
