Key Concept: Project

You create a project using Sentinel LDK Envelope to protect your software, which you can then link to a specific Sentinel protection key. Projects contain the following components:

> Program(s) designated for protection

>A Vendor Code

>The protected output

>Defined protection parameters

>User messages (either default or customized)

>Data file protection settings (not applicable for Java executables)

Project Requirements

Before you create a Sentinel LDK Envelope project, you must have all of the following readily available:

>The appropriate Sentinel Run-time Environment

>Your Batch Code (equivalent to the namespace in Sentinel EMS)

>Compatible .NET Framework (2.0 and above), if you intend to protect .NET assemblies.

>Defined protection parameters

>An executable file (.exe, .dll, .jar, .war), java library, or .NET assembly that you want to protect.

>The appropriate Sentinel Run-time Environment

>Defined protection parameters

>The binary that you want to protect
