hasp_login Screen

Description

Logs into a Feature and thereby establishes a session context. The hasp_login screen contains the following fields:

Name

The name of the Feature. The name corresponds to the Feature ID.

Use Default to specify the default Feature in the Sentinel protection key.

Vendor Code

If you are working online, this field displays an automatically generated list of Vendor Codes. Select the code that you require.

If you are not working online, use the browse button to navigate to and select the required Vendor Code file.

NOTE   To best utilize the functionality of Sentinel LDK ToolBox, Thales recommends that you work online.

Click Execute to transfer the function and field definitions to the Sentinel Licensing API. After the function is executed, corresponding values are displayed in the status fields and the executed function call is logged in the API Call History.

Once you have established a login session, use the generated session handle to make other API calls for the session. To end the session, use the hasp_logout function.
