The Sentinel RMS license codes must not have the following reserved characters and strings for the corresponding license properties:

># (number sign) is a comment character and all text appearing after this will be ignored in the vendor information (public, private, and license vendor information).

>###, $$$ and !!! character strings are reserved for internal processing. If a login user name or host name of a client machine contains any of these reserved character strings, the license request is denied.

>Comma (",") is a reserved character for secret text and must not be used (Sentinel RMS license version 10 onwards) for license generation purposes.
