Settings Menu— General Tab
The settings in the General tab relate to Sentinel LDK Envelope-specific definitions, and to definitions that affect all Vendor Suite applications.
Use the fields provided in the General tab to modify the following:

Enable search for Sentinel Vendor key at startup |
When selected, the Master wizard (used to introduce a new Sentinel Vendor key into your system) will run every time a Vendor Suite program is started. |
| Show warning for depleted battery |
When the battery in your connected Developer key is nearly depleted, a warning is displayed each time you start this application. To suppress this warning, clear this check box. **WARNING** If the battery in your Developer key is fully depleted, you may be blocked from performing important functions in Sentinel LDK. |

Always introduce Sentinel Vendor key using Online mode |
When selected, the Master wizard automatically connects to the Thales server to download your vendor libraries. The wizard will not ask you if you want to provide the vendor libraries in a disk file. |
| Sentinel EMS Server connection option |
(Sentinel LDK-EMS only) Determines options regarding the connection of Sentinel LDK Envelope to the Sentinel LDK-EMS Server. Available options are: >Display Offline Mode message When Sentinel LDK is not connected to the Server, a message bar is displayed at the bottom of the Envelope window. You can click the link on the message bar to connect to the Server. >Display Login dialog at startup A login dialog is displayed when you start Sentinel LDK Envelope. You can use the dialog to connect to the Server, or you can click Work offline in the dialog to work offline. >Disable Online Mode Sentinel LDK Envelope does not provide any options to connect to the Server. The login dialog and message bar are not displayed. All work is performed offline. |

Remember connections |
When selected, stores connection history. Previous connections are displayed as a list in the login dialog, enabling you to easily select the required server connection. Click the Clear connection history button to delete the connection history. |

Use Proxy for Master Wizard |
When selected, the Sentinel Master wizard uses a proxy server when it connects to Thales servers via the Internet. Click the Change proxy settings button to enter or change values for proxy connection parameters. NOTE You can also enter or change the proxy connection parameters in the Settings dialog box of Sentinel LDK ToolBox. |

Envelope collects data on the ways that Sentinel LDK Envelope is used by vendors to protect their software applications. This information enables us better understand which features are most important to you and where to allocate resources to improve the Sentinel LDK product.
