Adding Products to an Entitlement

The Product Selection dialog box enables you to select a Product and add it to the current Entitlement. The Products displayed in the list relate to the Batch Code that is specified for the Entitlement.

NOTE   Unlocked Products cannot be added to Entitlements and are therefore not included in the list of Products. The process of generating files containing Unlocked Products is a Development task.

To add a Product to an Entitlement:

1.Open the Product Selection dialog box, if it is not open. ClosedShow me how

2.Search the Products using the search text box at the top. This field supports both text search and wild card search. See Wild Card and Text Searches in Entitlements and Product Selection Screens for details.

Select an option from the search drop-down list from All, Product ID, Product Name, Type, Ref ID. For example, if you select Product ID, the search will be performed only in the Product IDs.

Select All to search in all categories except Type.

3.Select one or more Products.

4.Click Add Product To Entitlement. The Product is added to the Entitlement.

NOTE   If the selected channel partner has associated Products, only those Products are displayed unless:

>The master key is not connected, and multiple batch codes are present in the Sentinel LDK-EMS database.

>The master key is connected, and the Channel Partner module is expired or is not present in the master key.
