Deleting a Custom Clone Protection Scheme

You can delete a custom clone protection scheme only if the scheme is not in use, or if it is included in only one Product. If the scheme is included in a Product, you must delete the scheme from that Product.

To delete a custom clone protection scheme:

1.Select Catalog > Products to open the Products tab, if it is not displayed.

2.Open the Product containing the custom clone protection scheme for editing. Show me how

In the Batch Code list, select the Batch Code. The Products available in the Batch Code are displayed.Select the Product to modify. Click . The Edit Product dialog box opens.

If the scheme is not in use, either open an existing product for editing or create a new Product, as described in Creating a Product.

3.Under Clone Protection, in the relevant machine type area—Physical Machine or Virtual Machine—select the custom clone protection scheme that you want to delete.

(If the scheme is not in use and Platform Default is displayed in the Clone Protection box, select Advanced to display the list of machines.)

4.Click Delete. The custom clone protection scheme is removed from the list.

5.(Optional) Apply another clone protection scheme.

6.Click Save as Complete to save your changes.
