What are Authorization (Auth) Tokens?
Auth tokens are authorization tokens generated using registration tokens to support token-based authorization. These tokens are created using Sentinel EMS REST API endpoints and implement JSON Web Token (JWT) authentication. JWT is an open standard used for securely transmitting information.
NOTE
>Contact your customer support team for information on how to generate auth tokens.
> <5.5Preview>When the external IDP is enabled, a Sentinel EMS SSO user account cannot access the Sentinel EMS REST API (for example, the auth token endpoints). Use a separate user account that is not enabled for SSO to use the Sentinel EMS REST API.
