Email Template Mapping

NOTE   This page describes the migration of legacy TPL files to EMST files. For details on the actual email templates available in Sentinel EMS, see Email Templates.

Email templates (.emst files) have replaced .tpl files, which were available in Sentinel EMS 5.0 and earlier.

When you download an email template (.emst file), the associated language in which you are downloading the email template appends to the file name. For example, New Entitlement - Notify User_English.emst.

The following table displays the .emst mapping with the .tpl files:

Batch Entitlement Certificate_<Language>.emst Email template that includes details of the entitlement certificate for a batch entitlement. Used for notifying a channel partner that a batch entitlement certificate was generated.

Cloud-based Entitlement Notification_<Language>.emst Email template that includes details of a license certificate. Used for notifying a user that a cloud-based entitlement was created.

Entitlements - Expired_<Language>.emst Email template for notifying a user about entitlements that have recently expired. Lists the relevant entitlements. EntitlementExpiredEmail.tpl
Entitlements - Expiring Soon_<Language>.emst Email template for notifying a user about entitlements that are about to expire. Specifies the number of days remaining. EntitlementExpiringEmail.tpl
Entitlements - Never Activated_<Language>.emst Email template for notifying a user about entitlements that have never been activated. EntitlementNotActivatedEmail.tpl
File Upload_<Language>.emst Email template for notifying a user about a file uploaded for an entity along with information about the data imported.

Forgot Certificate Password_<Language>.emst Email template that contains information required to log in if password is forgotten. The notification is sent to the user whose email is specified as part of the credentials.

License Certificate_<Language>.emst Email template that includes details of a license certificate. Used for notifying a user that a license was generated.

 Email template for notifying a user about a successful manual revocation.

New Entitlement - Notify User_<Language>.emst

Email template that includes details of an entitlement certificate. Used for notifying a user that an entitlement was generated.

NOTE    For leased-based and connected licenses, to modify the license certificate title, it is recommended that you edit the title of the template by using the following code:

 Email template used by a software vendor to confirm the receipt of proof of revocation.

 Email template for notifying a software vendor that the entitlement quantity was recredited after a successful revocation.
