User Personas
Sentinel Pulse has three key personas. This section provides information about each user persona.
>Sales and Customer Success Users
System Administrator
As a Salesforce system administrator, you can:
>Add and manage Sentinel Pulse users in your org.
>Install and configure the Sentinel Pulse app.
>Change the default account mapping logic in Sentinel Pulse.
>View notifications created by all the Sentinel Pulse users and create your own notifications.
NOTE For an administrator to be able to use analytics functionality in Salesforce, you must to assign CRM analytics Plus Admin permission to the admin. For details on how to assign permissions, see Assign Permissions to Administrator.
Sales and Customer Success Users
As a sales or customer success user, you can:
>Engage with Pulse dashboards in Sentinel pulse app as well as in any other apps where the dashboards will be placed.
>Set up and receive proactive notifications for changes in attributes.
However, Sales or Customer Success users don’t have access to edit dashboards or account mapping.
NOTE You must assign the required permissions to the Sentinel Pulse Sales/Customer Success User. For details, see Assign Permissions to Users.
Sentinel Pulse Operations
As a Sentinel Pulse Operations User, you can:
>Map Salesforce account to customer names in Sentinel Platform. For details, see Account Mapping.
>Engage with the Sentinel Pulse dashboards.
>Set up and receive proactive notifications for changes in attributes.
NOTE You must assign the required permissions to the Sentinel Pulse Operations User. For details, see Assign Permissions to Users.
