About the Sentinel Cloud Plug-in (SCP)
The SCL Add-on package includes the Sentinel Cloud Plug-in (SCP) component. It is a client-side component that facilitates communication between the Thales components hosted in the cloud (such as the Sentinel Cloud Connect server) and Sentinel RMS components in the customer's site (such as the RMS License Manager).
SCP Variants
The following variants of SCP are included in the package:
SCP as a system service 
Used in network licensing, SCP is installed as a service on the same machine where the RMS License Manager is installed. You receive an SCP redistributable (a binary file) from Thales for carrying out the installation.

SCP-integrated licensing library 
Used in standalone licensing and RMS Cloud LM support, a single integrated library (which combines both the SCP and Sentinel RMS functionality into one) is provided. You need to integrate it with your licensed application, without requiring any external installation of the Sentinel RMS License Manager and the SCP service.
