Save as Draft, Queue, Produce, or Produce and Push a Sentinel LDK Entitlement

After you define an Entitlement, you can add the Entitlement to the production queue. When an Entitlement is added to the production queue, it cannot be changed. If you do not want to add it to the production queue at this stage, you can save it as a draft with its current information and add it to the production queue later.

Save as Draft

If the Entitlement cannot be added to the production queue because some of the required information is not available, or if you prefer not to Queue at this stage for any reason, you can save the Entitlement as Draft with all the details that you have defined so far.

To save the Entitlement as a Draft:

Click Save as Draft. The Entitlement is saved with the Draft status in the Entitlements page. You can view and continue editing the Entitlement later by opening it from the Entitlements page.

Queue

If all the necessary information for the Entitlement has been specified, you can queue it. The Entitlement will be available for production and will be displayed with the status Queued in the Entitlements page.

After you add an Entitlement to the production queue, you can open the Entitlement to view its details, but you cannot change anything in the Entitlement.

To add an Entitlement to the queue:

Click Queue.

NOTE   To edit a queued Entitlement, select the Entitlement from the Entitlements page and click Reopen. The status changes to Draft and the Entitlement can be edited.

Produce

If all necessary information for the Entitlement has been specified, you can produce the Entitlement immediately.

To produce the Entitlement:

Click Produce and follow the instructions for the relevant Entitlement type:

>Producing Product Keys for an Entitlement

>Producing Sentinel HL Keys for an Entitlement

>Producing a Protection Key Update File for an Entitlement

NOTE   After you produce an Entitlement, you cannot change any of the Entitlement details. Therefore, if you need to modify the Entitlement before production, click Cancel.

Produce and Push

If cloud licensing is available, and all necessary information for the Entitlement is specified, you can use Produce & Push to produce the Entitlement and push the license to your cloud license server machine in a single operation. This simplifies the entire process and removes several steps that otherwise must be performed manually.

>For a Product Key, this results in a new SL key on the license server.

>For a Protection Key update for a single key, this updates the selected key on the license server.

When you use Produce & Push, you can push to Sentinel LDK Cloud License Manager or to Sentinel LDK Cloud Portal.
