Sentinel LDK Evolution

This release enhances Sentinel LDK integration with Sentinel EMS to improve flexibility in licensing workflows. The enhancements include:

>Enhanced Namespace Support: Sentinel LDK now supports creating additional namespaces to segregate catalog data and control access. This enables you to manage your catalog offerings efficiently by business units, geographical locations, or other criteria, without the need to introduce a new batch code.

For more details, see Sentinel EMS User Guide for All Enforcements and Sentinel EMS User Guide for Sentinel LDK.

>Additional Attributes in a License File: Sentinel LDK licenses can now include additional attributes that are accessible through the Sentinel LDK Licensing API during runtime, and can be available in a human-readable format in the license file. You can use the Custom Info license model parameter to store metadata in a license, defining values as plain text or dynamic expressions. This enhancement enables you to embed relevant values in a license based on specific business requirements.

For more details, see Sentinel EMS User Guide for All Enforcements and Sentinel EMS User Guide for Sentinel LDK.

>Sentinel HL Key Check In: In addition to check-in by C2V files, you can now check-in by Sentinel HL keys.

For more details, see Sentinel EMS User Guide for All Enforcements and Sentinel EMS User Guide for Sentinel LDK.

Webhooks - Improved Filtering and Event Search

This release introduces webhook enhancements that simplify deployment and enhance the reliability of event-driven integrations. These enhancements include:

>Trigger Conditions: You can set specific conditions that trigger a webhook to gain greater control over event notifications.

>Advanced Event Search: You can search and filter webhook events using date and time parameters to quickly locate specific occurrences.

>Event Status Update: You can manually mark previously failed events as successful to prevent further automatic retries.

For more details, see Sentinel EMS User Guide for All Enforcements and Sentinel EMS User Guide for Sentinel LDK.

Email-Based Provisioning

This release introduces support for email-based provisioning to simplify complex onboarding workflows for large enterprise customers. This enhancement enables you to manage provisioning requests through automated email payloads, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency in customer onboarding processes.

For more details, see Sentinel EMS User Guide for All Enforcements and Sentinel EMS User Guide for Sentinel LDK.

Additional Configuration Capabilities on the Customer Portal

The following customer portal enhancements increase extensibility and configurability, allowing you to better align the portal with your customer needs. These enhancements also reduce the time required for portal implementation teams to deploy customized portals. The enhancements are:

>Configurable Layout: Allows switching from a left-hand navigation menu to a horizontal tabbed view through self-service configuration.

>Custom Creation Pages: Enables the Thales Professional Services team to add custom creation pages for specific business needs.

For more details, see Guide to the Sentinel EMS Customer Portal.

Feature Lifecycle Management

This release introduces enhanced functionality for managing the feature lifecycle. You can now mark features as obsolete when they are no longer in use and restore them later if required.

In the Sentinel EMS user interface, the Status column indicates whether a feature is active or obsolete. It is visible by default for new customers and hidden for existing customers, who can enable it as needed.

For more details, see Sentinel EMS User Guide for All Enforcements and Sentinel EMS User Guide for Sentinel LDK.

Other Enhancements

The following enhancements improve the usability and flexibility of Sentinel EMS:

>Feature Identifier in Product and Entitlement Pages: Sentinel EMS now displays the feature identifier along with the feature name when creating or viewing products and entitlements, making it easier to distinguish among features with similar names.

>Independent Permissions for Entitlement Split and Transfer: Sentinel EMS administrators can now assign separate permissions for entitlement split and transfer actions without granting full add or edit permissions.

>Enhanced Search in Entitlements and Activations: The Search Entitlements and Search Activations API endpoints now support filtering by multiple states and product keys.

>Optional Password for Channel Partner User Creation: The password field is now optional when you create a channel partner user in the Sentinel EMS vendor portal. This applies to both the user interface and the API.

>Transaction History Filter: You can now filter the transaction history by the "Executed By" parameter.

>Customer User ID Supports Email Addresses: The User ID field for customer users now accepts email addresses for consistency across implementations.

>Custom Attribute Data Type Switching: You can now switch a custom attribute’s data type between String and Text in the Sentinel EMS vendor portal, enabling you to handle larger values or optimize performance. This applies to both the user interface and the API.

>Enhanced Provisioning Error Messages: The system now displays a detailed error message instead of a generic one during provisioning request fulfillment.
